Description

Escape the daily noise and step into pure relaxation with the Dundalk Leisurecraft Canadian Timber Serenity 5-Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna. Expertly crafted from Eastern White Cedar, this sauna infuses your backyard or lakefront dock with authentic rustic elegance. Celebrated for its gentle, sun-bleached hue, tight grain, and soothing natural timber scent, Eastern White Cedar isn't just visually striking—it naturally withstands moisture, seasonal warping, rot, and insects.

Engineered to host up to 5 people with ease, the Serenity features an arched cylindrical design that continuously recirculates rising heat, cutting down warm-up times while optimizing fuel and energy consumption. Built using solid single-stave cedar planks, extra-deep 20″ seating benches, and heavy-duty marine-grade aluminum strapping, this outdoor sanctuary brings an elevated spa experience right to your home for decades to come.
Key Features

100% Handcrafted in Canada: Built by skilled Canadian craftsmen utilizing sustainably harvested timber from certified Canadian forests.

Premium Eastern White Cedar: Milled from premium Grade-A Eastern White Cedar staves without intermediate joints along their run, ensuring maximum structural integrity and a refined finish.

Ergonomic 20″ Extra-Wide Benches: Designed with deep, generous benching so guests can sit upright comfortably or stretch out fully during a session.

All-Climate Resilience: Engineered to endure volatile weather shifts—from sub-zero winter blizzards to intense summer heat—with inherent defense against decay and pests.

Marine-Grade Aluminum Strapping: Wrapped with T6061 rust-proof aluminum bands that hold the staves under precise tension without deteriorating outdoors.

Thermodynamic Barrel Shape: The circular interior profile eliminates cold corners, forcing hot air back down for faster heating and consistent temperature distribution.

Dual Heating Compatibility: Fully adapt your setup using either a traditional wood-burning stove or an electric heater unit.

Simplified DIY Assembly: Precision-engineered components allow for a smooth self-installation supported by step-by-step video tutorials and printable manuals.

Shipping & Delivery

FREE Heavy Freight Shipping: Included on all continental US orders. Your sauna ships directly from the factory in a heavy-duty wooden crate and is delivered right to your residential address.

Estimated Delivery: Typically arrives in 3–6 weeks, as each unit is custom handcrafted upon order in Ontario, Canada.

Unloading Your Delivery: Because these oversized crates are longer than 84 inches, they are too large to fit on a standard delivery truck's liftgate. Per manufacturer delivery guidelines, offloading the crate from the truck bed is the customer's responsibility. You have a few flexible ways to handle drop-off day:

  • Arrange Equipment: You can arrange to have a forklift, tractor with forks, or skid steer on site to lift the crate directly off the truck.
  • Terminal Pickup: Collect the crate directly at your local freight terminal using your own flatbed trailer or by hiring a local tilt-bed tow truck service.
  • Manual Hand-Offloading: You can cut the shipping straps and open the wooden crate right inside the back of the truck, then carry the individual wood panels down one by one. If you choose this option, you will need to have 2 or 3 friends or family members on hand on delivery day to help you move the pieces off the truck bed.
  • White-Glove Tow Truck Service: If you prefer a completely hands-off option, we can arrange a specialized tilt tow truck to handle offloading and driveway drop-off for a flat $1,250 fee.

Real-Time Tracking: We will email you tracking details as soon as your sauna leaves the workshop.

Delivery Appointment: The carrier will call you 24–48 hours before delivery to agree on a time window that works for you. Please make sure to pick up or call them back promptly, as carriers charge $35/day in terminal storage fees for unconfirmed or delayed drop-offs.

Inspection Upon Arrival: Please take a quick look at your crate before signing with the driver. If you notice any visible outer packaging damage, just make a quick note of it on the driver's delivery slip. If something looks severely damaged, refuse the shipment and let us know right away so we can take care of it for you.

Note: Estimated delivery dates give you a good ballpark, but actual transit times can shift slightly depending on weather, remote locations, or regional carrier schedules.
