What power outlet does the chiller require?
It plugs straight into a standard 120V household outlet—no special wiring or electricians required.

Can I plug the chiller into an extension cord?
A direct wall connection is best, but if needed, use a heavy-duty, grounded 12-gauge outdoor extension cord.

Yes, our systems are built for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor setups, keep the chiller under a covered or shaded area, shield the electrical connection from direct rain, and use an insulated cover to protect against extreme heat or freezing weather.

With proper chiller filtration and routine sanitation (like ozone), you only need to change the water every 2 to 4 months. Without an active filtration system, we recommend draining and refilling every 1 to 2 weeks.

Note: Any high-quality chiller will feature integrated filtration and built-in ozone to eliminate manual water maintenance.

For beginners, we recommend starting at 50°F–59°F for 2 to 3 minutes. As your body adapts, you can lower the temperature toward 37°F–45°F.

Most experts recommend capping your sessions at 2 to 5 minutes per plunge.
