Description

Transform your outdoor sanctuary with the Dundalk Leisurecraft Canadian Timber Tranquility 6-Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna with Half-Moon Windows. Handcrafted from Eastern White Cedar, this spacious sauna incorporates elegant dual half-moon glass windows, bathing the expanded interior in natural light while framing picturesque outdoor views. Known for its bright natural tones, fine grain, and signature aromatic scent, Eastern White Cedar naturally protects against harsh weather, moisture, rot, and insects.

Engineered to accommodate up to 6 people, the Tranquility features an integrated front cooling porch paired with an efficient circular profile that continually circulates heat for rapid, even warmth. Built with solid single-stave cedar planks, full-length 20″ extra-wide benches, and heavy-duty marine-grade aluminum strapping, this light-filled sauna offers a luxurious, spa-level retreat designed to last for years to come.

Key Features

100% Handcrafted in Canada: Built by experienced Canadian woodworkers using sustainably sourced timber harvested from certified Canadian forests.

Scenic Half-Moon Windows: Integrated half-moon glass windows allow ambient natural light inside while offering expansive views of your natural surroundings.

Premium Eastern White Cedar: Formed from high-grade, single-piece cedar staves crafted without intermediate length joints for superior stability and a smooth aesthetic.

Ergonomic 20″ Extra-Wide Benches: Deep, spacious seating gives up to 6 guests ample room to sit back comfortably or recline fully during sessions.

Integrated Front Cooling Porch: Built-in front overhang and seats provide a dedicated outdoor space to rest and cool down between sauna rounds.

All-Climate Resilience: Superior outdoor endurance against fluctuating weather conditions—from heavy winter freezing to summer heat—with inherent defenses against decay and rot.

Marine-Grade Aluminum Strapping: Held tightly in place using rust-resistant T6061 aluminum bands that maintain stave tension without corroding over time.

Thermodynamic Barrel Shape: The cylindrical body eliminates air pockets to drive heat downward, accelerating initial warm-up times and lowering energy draw.

Dual Heating Compatibility: Flexible architectural layout that accepts both classic wood-burning stoves and high-efficiency electric sauna heaters.

Simplified DIY Assembly: Pre-engineered sauna kit built for intuitive self-assembly supported by complete video walkthroughs and PDF instruction guides.

Shipping & Delivery

FREE Heavy Freight Shipping: Included on all continental US orders. Your sauna ships directly from the factory in a heavy-duty wooden crate and is delivered right to your residential address.

Estimated Delivery: Typically arrives in 3–6 weeks, as each unit is custom handcrafted upon order in Ontario, Canada.

Unloading Your Delivery: Because these oversized crates are longer than 84 inches, they are too large to fit on a standard delivery truck's liftgate. Per manufacturer delivery guidelines, offloading the crate from the truck bed is the customer's responsibility. You have a few flexible ways to handle drop-off day:

  • Arrange Equipment: You can arrange to have a forklift, tractor with forks, or skid steer on site to lift the crate directly off the truck.
  • Terminal Pickup: Collect the crate directly at your local freight terminal using your own flatbed trailer or by hiring a local tilt-bed tow truck service.
  • Manual Hand-Offloading: You can cut the shipping straps and open the wooden crate right inside the back of the truck, then carry the individual wood panels down one by one. If you choose this option, you will need to have 2 or 3 friends or family members on hand on delivery day to help you move the pieces off the truck bed.
  • White-Glove Tow Truck Service: If you prefer a completely hands-off option, we can arrange a specialized tilt tow truck to handle offloading and driveway drop-off for a flat $1,250 fee.

Real-Time Tracking: We will email you tracking details as soon as your sauna leaves the workshop.

Delivery Appointment: The carrier will call you 24–48 hours before delivery to agree on a time window that works for you. Please make sure to pick up or call them back promptly, as carriers charge $35/day in terminal storage fees for unconfirmed or delayed drop-offs.

Inspection Upon Arrival: Please take a quick look at your crate before signing with the driver. If you notice any visible outer packaging damage, just make a quick note of it on the driver's delivery slip. If something looks severely damaged, refuse the shipment and let us know right away so we can take care of it for you.

Note: Estimated delivery dates give you a good ballpark, but actual transit times can shift slightly depending on weather, remote locations, or regional carrier schedules.
